What Wilderness Bound added
- Dappled Forest, a cooler forest of poplar trees whose leaves can be red, orange, or yellow.
- Shelf mushrooms on poplar wood. A small one bone-meals into a large one and gives a little bounce.
- Abandoned camps in many forest biomes, with chests and barrels.
- Cushions crafted from wool slabs, and straw beds for a simpler place to sleep.
- Wool and concrete stairs and slabs.
- On Java, spectator players can step through portals, and Realms gained invite codes.
What the Bedrock 26.52 hotfix changed
- Steadier Switch networking.
- A launch failure on some iPhones, tracked as MCPE-242503.
- Projectiles no longer hit spectators.
- Cushions stay put when a chunk reloads.
- Older worlds that already used Marketplace add-ons no longer lose achievements by mistake.
Leave snapshots for testing
Java 26.4 Snapshot 3 is a test build. Mojang warns that snapshots can damage a world. Copy a world before you open it in a snapshot, and keep a long-term world on Java 26.3 or Bedrock 26.52.
